GOAL OF THE CONFERENCE

The conference is organized in response to the national social security campaign “For a Safe Lithuania”, initiated by the President of the Republic of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė. Various political, scientific and practical child care perspectives will be analysed during the conference. Problems impeding the development of the foster care system in order to decrease the number of children raised in orphanages will be presented, discussed and defined.
