Best Research Projects Were Awarded at the 30th Euroweek Conference

For the first time Lithuania hosted the 30th Euroweek Conference, an international event bringing together students and academics from 18 different countries. Vilniaus kolegija / Higher Education Institution (VIKO) is the only lithuanian higher education institution participating in the conference.

Rector Dr. Žymantė Jankauskienė pointed out that Euroweek is an exceptional international event which brings together a large number of students and academics from 18 countries. ,,I would like to congratulate the authors of the best papers, presentations and posters that have been awarded, which explore in various aspects the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) in the 21st century. Many thanks to the community of Vilniaus kolegija for actively and sincerely organized event. I’m glad that the participants took away the best impressions of our HEI, Vilnius and Lithuania”.

“Euroweek is an annual conference that brings together students and academics from universities belonging to the non-profit association PRIME Networking. This network brings together higher education institutions from 18 countries. During the annual event international teams of students from different fields presented their research projects. This year, the Euroweek conference took place from 28th April to 2nd May at Vilniaus kolegija. This year the main topic was ,,Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the 21st century: opportunities and challenges’’. More than 80 students and 50 academics were working on research projects and prepared presentations on the impact of AI on sustainable entrepreneurship, financial strategies, business models, insurance and other areas,” noted Dr. Alina Katunian, Head of Reasearch and Art Department, Euroweek Student Coordinator.
