How to apply?

NOTE Vilniaus kolegija / Vilnius University of Applied Sciences (VIKO) has intake only once a year for autumn semester!

Key dates for 2021 intake

– application period opens: 1 January 2021
– application deadline: 15 July 2021
– beginning of Autumn semester studies: 1 September 2021

 

STEP 1 – Choose a degree programme

When choosing a degree programme, pay attention to the general admission requirements that must be fulfilled during your application https://en.viko.lt/for-students/admission-requirements/.

STEP 2 – Prepare the required documents

List of required documents:

  • copy of your passport;
  • copies of proof of the high (secondary) education received (graduation certificate or diploma) and its supplements (transcript);
  • copy of document indicating knowledge level of English language, e. IELTS, TOEFL, etc.;
  • bank confirmation of paid non-refundable application fee of 100 Euros.

 

STEP 3 – Pay the application fee

The application fee is 100 EUR per application. An online application will be processed only after the application fee is collected and the payment receipt is submitted. The application fee is non-refundable.

STEP 4 – Apply online

Only full applications submitted before the corresponding deadline are accepted – all of the requirements listed above must be fulfilled to have the application considered for admission.

To proceed with your online application, you have to create an account in the online application system needs.viko.lt. Please provide the correct e-mail address to receive all the important information.

Note 1. It is necessary to apply for recognition of your secondary education qualifications personally through the Electronic Recognition Area (EPE), accessible at https://epe.skvc.lt. Please note that the applications for recognition are reviewed within one calendar month.

During online application request a proof of purpose. We will send it directly to the Centre of the Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC).

Upon the completion of the recognition procedure the below document shall be uploaded on the online application system needs.viko.lt.:

Note 2. Those who do not have certificate attesting their English language skills (IELTS, TOEFL, etc.) can take the English language level test for free at a distance at VIKO. Register for online English language proficiency test in the online application system needs.viko.lt while applying.

 

STEP 5 – Wait while we check

Once the application has been submitted online, a preliminary evaluation and further guidance will be provided individually to your e-mail address within 5 working days.

Successful applicants will receive acceptance letters.

 

STEP 6 – Pay the tuition fee

After you receive the acceptance letter, you should transfer the tuition fee for the first study year of studies. The tuition fees can be found at https://en.viko.lt/for-students/tuition-fees/.

Tuition fees for the first year of studies must be paid within 15 calendar days after the day you receive an acceptance letter with our bank references.

 

STEP 7 – Arrange your arrival

After we confirm the receipt of the tuition fee, you may proceed further with arranging your arrival (visas, flights, accommodation).
