Before you submit your application, make sure you meet the admission requirements:


All foreign applicants shall present the proofs of their academic qualifications being recognized in Lithuania. The upper secondary or/and higher education qualification documents have to be evaluated by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC).

Common European Framework of Reference for Languages CEFR – B1 level

International English Language Testing System IELTS – overall score 5
Test of English as a Foreign Language TOELF – overall score 45

Note. IELTS or TEOLF test score is valid 2 years only and older tests are not accepted.

Take your English language test online!

Online English language proficiency test, administered by the English Language Centre of Vilnius kolegija / University of Applied Sciences, is a test of general academic language abilities and literacy skills and can be taken during the admission period free of charge. The test result can be used as an evidence of proof of English language proficiency to apply for studies at Vilnius kolegija / University of Applied Sciences. Candidates who have received the required B2 level (CEFR) at the English language proficiency test are waived from taking IELTS or TOELF. Please note that a test result submitted after the admission deadline is not accepted for the current intake.

Waiving English language requirements

Proof of English language may only be waived if a candidate:

  • has finished from either International Baccalaureate (IB) or European Baccalaureate (EB) school;
  • has completed secondary or higher education taught fully in English in one of the following countries: EU/EEA member states, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand.

Please note that the transcript of record must include that studies were conducted fully in English.

If you have completed studies in English but not in the country named above, we ask you to present an internationally recognized test or to take an online English language proficiency test. Please see the requirements above.
