China Delegation Visit

9th of March, Beijing Municipal Education Commission (BMEC), the government department who is in charge of Beijing education affairs overall, a 5-people delegation carried out and official visit to Vilniaus kolegija / University of Applied Sciences: Zheng Dengweng, the Deputy Director General if BMEC, head of the delegation, Wang Gang, Deputy Director-General of Beijing Minicipal Bureau of Finance, Xu Fang, Vice President of Capital University of Economics and Business, Gu Tiangang, Director of Beijing International Exchange Centre and Yin Lijun, Director of Education Committee of Haidian District Beijing. The prime purpose of the visit was to seek opportunity for official cooperation with local education administrative departments, universities and schools, and to promote bilateral education exchange between Beijing and Lithuania.

The delegation met with the Rector of Vilniaus kolegija/ UAS dr. Gintautas Bražiūnas, Head of International Office Mrs. Jolanta Preidiene, Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics dr. Romanas Tumasonis and head of the Development and Innovations Department Mrs. Aušra Netikšiene. Quests get acquainted with the Lithuania’s higher education system, study programmes offered by Vilniaus kolegija / UAS, also visited Faculty of Electronics and informatics and Career Days “Hi, I’m Engineer”, organised there.
