From 20-24 May 2025 in Murcia, Spain, the TASC consortium organised an initial (A-level) training course on sustainable communication for 42 teachers from the seven countries participating in the consortium. Among other teachers, 7 teachers from Lithuania successfully completed the training in Murcia.

The training was delivered by trainers from different European countries. Lithuania was represented by Dr Vaidotas Valantiejus, Gabrielė Kizytė and Aušra Simoniukštytė, assistant professors at the Faculty of Education of Vilnius College.

The Teachers Academy for Sustainable Communication (TASC) is an Erasmus+ project in which twelve partners from seven countries are working together to develop an international joint 20-credit curriculum for the development of sustainable communication competences. TASC wants to help European teachers to acquire the communication skills needed to become driven and reflective teachers, able to prevent discrimination, polarisation, cultures of violence in school and society, exclusion and bullying.
