Faculty of Electronics and Informatics Joins a New Erasmus+ Project
Faculty of Electronics and Informatics joined a new two years Erasmus+ project 2015-1-LV01-KA203-013436 “Partnership to ensure Risk Management in Practice – PERM, coordinated by BA School of Business and Finance, Latvia. The project academic partners are: Hogeschool Rotterdam, the Netherlands and Vilniaus kolegija/University of Applied Sciences, and partners representing business are two Latvian companies – AAS BALTA and Latvian Insurers Association. The main aim of the project is to develop a risk management guidance and management methodology and risk management simulation game.
At the begining of October partner kick-off meeting took place in Riga. During the meeting partners agreed on project management principles, financial and project outcomes, re-allocated responsibilities and activities that ensure achievement of the project results. Vilniaus kolegija was represented by two representatives of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics – associate professor, PhD Mindaugas Liogys and associate professor, PhD Povilas Treigys.
