Career Prospects
Graduates will be able to work as designers in various fields of the fashion and creative industries. In apparel and textile companies, they will develop and implement brand collections as well as carry out individual and commissioned projects. Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be prepared to design costumes for participants of art events as well as theatre, film, television, and advertising projects, take part in international fashion platforms, work as designer consultants, establish and develop their own businesses, and build and grow a personal brand.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of the Fashion Design study programme, graduates will be able to:
- analyse and creatively interpret fashion trends and references, and create original clothing collections from concept to finished product;
- visualise creative ideas using artistic means of expression and digital tools, and present them clearly and professionally;
- design (construct and model) individual fashion products (garments, accessories, etc.) using both traditional methods (draping, pattern drafting on paper) and specialised computer software;
- select and apply both traditional and innovative materials and technologies in garment production in order to express a coherent collection identity.
