Career Prospects
An interior design specialist can work creatively in design studios, architectural offices, furniture and accessories showrooms, manufacturing companies, and lighting design offices. Graduates can create their own business, as well as lead a team of specialists with different competencies in various fields, and provide professional advice on interior design issues. Graduates of the interior design study programme have the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at Lithuanian or foreign universities.
Learning Outcomes
It is expected that a graduate from the programme will be able to:
- Create and develop interior design solutions for public and residential premises, professionally express creative ideas, and purposefully select and use computer technologies;
- Prepare an interior design and provide a full-fledged product, collect and systematize information;
- Work in a team, communicate in professional activities, protect and create a friendly environment for nature and people;
- Will possess the basic artistic and engineering-technological knowledge necessary for professional activities, and will understand the professional and cultural context.
