Career Prospects
The Musical Theatre Study Programme is designed for creative individuals who are passionate about the performing arts and wish to master the synthesis of music, theatre, and dance. Throughout their studies, students learn to develop control over their voice, body, and emotions, create musical roles, and collaborate with various creative teams. Upon graduation, they can work in drama and musical theatres, television projects, entertainment troupes, or pursue individual careers as actors and singers.
Learning Outcomes
- Analyze literary and musical texts, recognize essential elements.
- Apply the characteristics of music and musical theater (musical) genres and styles.
- Control voice, acting technique, and body expression, combining them while performing musical, acting, and choreographic tasks.
- Work as a soloist and as a member of an ensemble, adapting to the role and musical part.
- Create and perform musical theater (musical) roles, applying the acquired skills and artistic means.
- Respond to changes in directing, musical, and choreographic decisions on stage.
- Critically evaluate one’s own activities and cultural phenomena, taking into account the requirements of musical theater.
- Communicate clearly in writing and orally, present creative ideas, and work in a team.
- Be familiar with the stages of development of theater, music, and musical theater, as well as their stylistic features.
