Graduates will be able to work as primary teachers or teachers according to chosen specialization at all types of general education schools.
Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:
- analyze and evaluate Lithuania’s and other countries’ education experience and science shift tendencies, know strategic attitudes of sustainable development oriented education.
- apply active educational environment creation methods
- explain pupil’s development patterns, ways of his/her needs recognition, possibilities and peculiarities of educational process management, importance of reflection and its strategies, factors determining quality education.
- analyze and apply education content documents in professional activity.
- apply proper assessment systems and methodologies for evaluating each pupil’s capacity and education needs.
- organize professional activity research, use its results for learning development;
- plan, prepare and implement educational projects.
- communicate in national and foreign languages, by expressing thoughts visually and reasonably
- communicate and collaborate with pupil’s family and other participants of educational process by following constructive and positive principles, share good experience.
- develop pupil’s information culture.
- create safe educational environment, favorable for children’s adaptation and full development.
- evaluate educational situation, apply pupil motivation and self-esteem building methods and means reasonably and responsibly.
- innovatively model and creatively implement education curriculum, in accordance with child interests, needs, and possibilities.
- plan and organize educational process in various forms and in accordance with child interests, needs, and possibilities.
- use innovative technologies for organizing formal and no-formal education of pupils.
- use all school subject development and achievement descriptors for organizing pupils’ assessment and self-evaluation.
- use modern IT and special e-programs for organizing learner-oriented educational process.
- develop pupils’ computer literacy and technical abilities.
- create virtual education spaces by using ICT.
- be able to organize pre-primary children education innovatively and creatively.
- relate peculiarities and needs of pre-primary child, assess and ensure his/her educational development.
- create educational environment, favorable for pre-primary child’s self-expression and competencies’ development
