You will be able to work in all personal health care institutions: hospitals, outpatient clinics, family centers, sanatoriums and rehabilitation centers, sports and health clubs, kindergartens, schools, social services institutions, other institutions, or to develop individual business of physiotherapy services.
Learning Outcomes
You will be able to:
- Disseminate and apply general and subject-specific knowledge of physiotherapy covering the professional cooperation and communication, the principles of applied research and ethics, and the methods for the patient/client testing, assessing and treatment, following the International Classification of Function (ICF).
- Plan, carry out and disseminate practice-oriented empirical physiotherapy research, to solve the problems of rehabilitation through expanding one’s own professional activities and implementing health care and rehabilitation innovations.

- Demonstrate appropriate decision-making skills – to assess when the physiotherapist’s competence is sufficient to treat the patient and when the patient should be sent to another healthcare professional
- Make an individual physiotherapy plan based on physiotherapy diagnosis, considering the patient’s/client’s (a group, community) needs.
- Based practice on evidence, best practices and recommendations, systematically, systematically, and individually perform physiotherapy procedures and critically assess their effects.
- Supplement, accumulate and analyse professional documentation considering ethical, deontological, and legal principles.
- Analyse, demonstrate clinical reasoning skills and reflective practice through cooperation with patients/clients and/their family members.
- In practical activities to observe the principles of equal opportunities, diversity awareness, professional responsibility, and mutual trust in a physiotherapist-patient/client relationship.
- Foster healthy lifestyles, apply health protection measures and carry out preventive activities’ patient/client relationship.
- Demonstrate social responsibility when strengthening the image of the profession of physiotherapy and educating a patient/client to take responsibility for his/her own health.
- Communicate and cooperate with colleagues, patients/clients, groups and a community verbally and in a written form, when considering the principles of ethics and citizenship.
- Critically assess personal professional practice, take care of professional self-improvement, develop job-oriented qualities, and perform one’s job professionally, observing the principles of critical thinking and life-long learning.
