From Ideas to Impact: Building Horizon Europe Proposals Together?
Vilniaus kolegija hosted the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for researchers and project managers “From Ideas to Impact: Building Horizon Europe Proposals Together.” The event brought together participants from higher education institutions in Croatia, Finland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Germany, Portugal, and Slovakia.
The programme aimed to strengthen participants’ practical skills in developing Horizon Europe project proposals while fostering international collaboration through the joint development of project proposal aligned with the 2027 Horizon Europe calls. Representatives from the HEROES University Alliance and other partner institutions worked in international and interinstitutional teams, developing project ideas related to key Horizon Europe priorities, including culture and heritage, digital technologies and artificial intelligence innovation, climate change, and sustainable agriculture.
This was the first Blended Intensive Programme specifically dedicated to Horizon Europe proposal writing and designed to bring together international partners for collaborative project development. The programme provided participants with an opportunity not only to deepen their knowledge of European research funding but also to apply proposal development methodologies in practice while building new international research initiatives.
