Teaching mobility
Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution (VIKO) invites lecturers from its partner higher education institutions (HEIs) to participate in the Erasmus+ exchange programme and visit VIKO for a teaching assignment lasting 2–5 working days.
Teaching mobility aims to enhance the quality of higher education at partner institutions and to provide the academic community with opportunities for personal and professional development.
International lecturers from partner higher education institutions are invited to share their knowledge and practical experience with VIKO students and faculty in the following fields:
- Agrotechnologies: Agribusiness technologies, landscape design, food technology, applied chemical analysis, and the only veterinary program in Lithuania (Faculty of Agrotechnologies)
- Economics and Finance: Finance, accounting, banking, investment management (Faculty of Economics)
- Electronics and Informatics: Information systems, software systems, electronics and automation, and drone engineering (Faculty of Electronics and Informatics)
- Arts and Design: Graphic, interior, fashion, and multimedia design, photography, popular music, musical theatre (Faculty of Arts and Design)
- Pedagogy and Social Work: Early childhood and primary education, dance pedagogy, social work, Lithuanian Sign Language interpreting (Faculty of Pedagogy)
- Healthcare: Nursing, physiotherapy, general practice nursing, occupational therapy (Faculty of Healthcare)
- Business and Engineering: International business, tourism management, construction, transport logistics, renewable energy engineering (Faculty of Business Management and Faculty of Civil Engineering)
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TEACHING MOBILITY
Option 1: individual teaching mobility.
Please submit the ONLINE APPLICATION between September 1st and May 1st of the current academic year.
Teaching visits may take place throughout the academic year (September 1 – May 31).

Submitted applications are reviewed by faculties within 10 working days.
Selection is based on the proposed teaching programme.
Applicants are notified of the faculty decision within 2 working days after the decision is being made.
Key requirements for the visit
- Duration: recommended duration is 2–5 working days.
- Teaching workload: minimum requirement of 8 academic hours (or a proportionally lower amount if the visit is shorter than a week).
- Agreement: prior to arrival, a mobility agreement (Teaching Mobility Agreement) must be signed: it has to be approved by the staff member, his / her home higher education institution (Sending Institution), and the host higher education institution (Receiving institution).
Funding
Academic staff members wishing to participate in Erasmus+ exchange should contact the department at their higher education institution responsible for internationalization and exchange regarding visit funding.
Option 2: participation in an International Teaching Week
INTERNATIONAL TEACHING WEEK’ 2027

Staff training mobility for academic staff
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING MOBILITY
Academic staff from higher education institutions in the countries listed below are invited to participate in training mobility at Vilniaus Kolegija’s faculties and/or departments to enhance professional competencies.
Countries from which academic staff are invited:
European Union (EU) Member States: Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden.
Programme-associated third countries: North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.

- Agreement: prior to arrival, a mobility agreement (Training Mobility Agreement) must be signed; it has to be approved by the staff member, his/her home higher education institution (Sending Institution), and the host higher education institution (Receiving institution).
Please note, the priority at Vilniaus Kolegija is given to teaching mobility.
Funding
Staff members wishing to participate in Erasmus+ exchange should contact the department at their higher education institution responsible for internationalization and exchange regarding the funding of the mobility.
