Marianna and Valery LYUBAS (Ukraine, Krivoy Rog) Paper Cutting Exhibition “Ukraine – My Love”
The works of the authors are kept in the Vytynanka Museum of the House of Folk Art of Mogilev-Podolsk, the Vinnitsa Regional Center of Folk Art, the Domodedovo Museum of History and Art (collection of Prof. A. M. Petrichenko), in private collections in Ukraine and abroad. The exhibition presents works from the collection of Laimute Fedoseyeva.
The authors graduated from the Kryvyi Rih State Institute with a degree in fine arts, artistic work and drawing.
Teachers of the art department of the Krivoy Rog city music school. Participants of city, all-Ukrainian, international exhibitions, members of the National Union of Masters of Folk Art of Ukraine. Marianna has been doing vytynanka since 2000, Valeriy since 2005. Vytynanka became for the authors an expression not only of the aesthetics of the surrounding world, but also of a clear life position. Even in the wild conditions of hostilities, Marianna and Valery do not leave their hometown, do not leave their students: they work remotely, organize performances of children’s creativity on social networks, on YouTube.
