Minister of Education, Science and Sports J. Šiugždinienė Met with the Community of Vilnius University of Applied Sciences
On 25 th November the Minister of Education, Science and Sports J. Šiugždinienė met with Vilnius University of Applied Sciences community and presented the most important changes in the education system and answered the questions of the community members.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vitalija Gražienė, Prof. Dr. of the Faculty of Pedagogy of Vilnius University of Applied Sciences was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Ministry. She was actively involved in the Lithuanian education reform work and participated in the preparation of conceptual documents for the education reform, participated in the implementation of projects for the development of early childhood education, and has extensive experience as an evaluator of international study programmes.
The meeting discussed changes in the education system and the restructuring of the college sector.
The Minister emphasized that the Vilnius University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest in Lithuania, meeting the expectations and needs of applicants not only from the Vilnius region, but also from the whole of Lithuania.
