Ongoing Changes after the Coronavirus Quarantine Has Been Declared in Lithuania
According to the decision of the Academic Council of VIKO | UAS, Spring semester studies are conducted and will be completed online (in Moodle environment, consulting by email, using Teams, etc.). This period may change as necessary. All questions regarding self-studies are encouraged to solve by e-mail, contacting the lecturers.
All mass events until the middle of the June have been postponed to a later date.
Starting the 1st of June the return and issue of books (according to pre-orders) will be carried out from Monday to Friday during the working hours of the faculty libraries. The books will have to be returned or picked up in specially designated places, which will be indicated by the library staff. Information sent in detail to each member of the VIKO community by e-mail.
During the quarantine period, access to libraries is restricted, so visitors will not be able to work in the reading rooms. We offer to use the electronic resources of the library remotely: Databases, Electronic books, Virtual library. Library staff provides consultations by e-mail.

VIKO canteens are closed.
Guests will not be allowed in the dormitories.
VIKO Veterinary Clinic will be closed until the middle of the June.

The VIKO staff working procedure:
- The work of the departments is coordinated by the heads of departments.
- The lecturers must work remotely, and when necessary and in compliance with all hygiene requirements, the faculty lecture halls and their computers can be used.
- Applications for business trips will not be approved up till the middle of the June, the deadline may be extended.
