Representative of Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution Participates in EURASHE Skills Community of Practice Events
On December 1, 2023 Rita Liepuonienė, Vice-Rector for Studies at Vilniaus Kolegija / Higher Education Institution, participated in a seminar at the European Parliament on Lifelong Learning Week 2023. The aim of Lifelong Learning Week is to raise awareness of the potential of lifelong learning to address the many challenges of modern society. The seminar showcased initiatives and projects contributing to skills development in Europe to consolidate transferable skills in formal, non-formal and informal learning environments. The event was organised by the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) in cooperation with the Lifelong Learning Platform and the European Parliament.
Ms Liepuonienė also participated in the EURASHE Skills Community of Practice CoP meeting at the EURASHE headquarters. Launched in February 2023, the Community of Practice is a space where academic staff, experts and students come together to exchange good practice, share experiences, contribute to capacity building and co-create the future of professional higher education.
