Success for social work student at World Para Athletics Championships in India

On September 28, some awesome news came in from the World Para Athletics Championships in India.

Viktorija Žižmaraitė, a member of the Vilniaus kolegija | Vilnius Higher Education Institution community and a student of the social work study program, won 6th place in her group! Viktorija (class T71) set a personal record of 34.55 seconds in the 100 m tricycle race and took an honorable sixth place in the world.

This achievement would not have been possible without her coach, Ramūnė Motejūnaitė, a lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy, who has been training, motivating, and supporting disabled triple athletes for many years.
