The 38th EAIE Annual Conference Took Place in Glasgow
From 8–11 September, the 38th Annual Conference of the European Association of International Education (EAIE) was held in Glasgow, Scotland. The event brought together more than 7,000 participants from around the world. Recognised as the leading event for international higher education professionals, the EAIE conference provides a platform for strengthening cooperation in education and research, exchanging experience, and gaining practical insights into international programmes.
This year, Vilniaus kolegija was represented by Dr Nijolė Zinkevičienė, Vice Director for Research and Partnership, and Dr Jolanta Preidienė, Head of the International Relations and Projects Department.
During the event, Vilniaus kolegija was also represented at the joint “Study in Lithuania” stand, together with other Lithuanian higher education institutions.
Participation in the EAIE Conference is an important part of Vilniaus kolegija’s internationalisation strategy. It provides opportunities to establish new partnerships with higher education institutions across Europe and beyond, strengthen existing cooperation, and expand Erasmus+ mobility opportunities for students and staff. The conference also creates favourable conditions for initiating joint international projects, promoting Vilniaus kolegija’s study programmes, enhancing the institution’s international visibility, and adopting innovative practices in higher education internationalisation.
