The Winter edition of VIKO Staff Training Week
The Winter edition of VIKO Staff Training Week, which took place in December, 2022, gathered 24 participants from 9 European countries who worked on entrepreneurship and creativity topics throughout the week.
The first day of STT was dedicated to getting to know each other, Vilnius, Lithuania, it’s culture and language. The following activities included meeting the VIKO social partner company and working on the business challenge given to participants by them, generating ideas and boosting creativity via workshops, stories and games, participation in moderated networking session as well as meetings at different VIKO faculties, during which participants got to know each other’s field of work and institution they represented.
A huge variety of socio-cultural program was provided to the guests of Staff Training Week – they visited the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, got acquainted with Lithuanian Christmas traditions, songs and dances by participating in the International Evening performed by VIKO folk song and dance group “Voruta” as well as had a unique possibility to listen to polyphonic Georgian songs performed by ensemble “Pesvebi”. The intensive week ended with a Christmas themed creativity workshop during which each participant made unique Christmas tree decorations. The summer edition of Staff Training Week is planned for June 19-23, 2023.
