The General Directorate of European Climate Policy of the European Commission has elected Dalia Karlaitė, a lecturer at the Faculty of Business Management, as the ambassador of the Climate Pact for a one-year term.

The European Climate Pact is an initiative by the European Commission, a movement of united people working towards a common goal, aiming to take action in their respective countries and collectively create a more sustainable Europe. Ambassadors of the Climate Pact include leaders of organizations and associations, leaders of communities and informal societal groups, mayors of cities and towns, parliamentarians, policymakers, opinion influencers, as well as representatives from cultural, educational, and scientific institutions. These responsibilities provide opportunities to share information and best practices, together with the community of Vilniaus Kolegija and partners, in the search for innovative and creative solutions to build a sustainable environment and economy.

Climate Pact ambassadors, through their example, inspire, mobilize, and collaborate with stakeholders from across Europe to seek innovative, creative, and interdisciplinary solutions for systemic changes in the fields of environmental protection and climate change.
