Vilniaus kolegija hosts the final international event of the project “Hybrid Teaching: Empowering Educators for the Future”


On October 8, the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Vilniaus kolegija hosted the Erasmus+ international hybrid event “Hybrid Teaching: Empowering Educators for the Future,” which was attended by lecturers from Vilniaus kolegija and other higher education institutions, as well as members of the educational community from Lithuania and abroad. The event was held both in person and remotely.
The event featured presentations on the initial research methodology and insights on how to create user profiles for the development of micro-credentials, presented by Torben Wilke and Maik Jepsen from Europa-Universität Flensburg; the structure of the micro-credential system and the constructive alignment between the six micro-modules, presented by Roelien Wierda and Ron Barendsen from NHL Stenden Hogeschool; a micro-certification system for teachers’ online teaching competencies with evidence and assessment processes, presented by Andrejus Račkovskis from the Teaching Excellence Centre at Vilniaus kolegija.
The event featured demonstrations of the interactive micro-modules that had been created, and the final part consisted of parallel workshops (both live and remote) on accessible hybrid learning, technological solutions for virtual teaching, and the specifics of hybrid teaching didactics.
