Vilniaus kolegija Participates in the EURASHE Conference in Portugal
On May 14–15, the Vilniaus kolegija’s team is attending the 34th EURASHE (European Association for the Applied Sciences in Higher Education) conference, held in Portalegre, Portugal.
This year’s conference theme – “Place, Knowledge, Skills: Applied universities driving regional competitiveness” – is highly relevant in the context of professional higher education. It aligns closely with the strategic goals of the HEROES alliance, of which Vilniaus kolegija is a member.
The conference provides a platform for participants to share experiences, discuss current challenges, and outline future aspirations, thereby strengthening the role of applied sciences in fostering regional development and competitiveness. The conference is moderated by Dr. Nijolė Zinkevičienė, Vice-Rector for Research and Partnerships at Vilniaus kolegija.
