Visit in Georgia

18-19 of February Vilniaus kolegija together with the other 10 higher education institutions of Lithuania participated in the International Study Fair in Tbilisi, Georgia. Vilniaus kolegija in the fair was presented by Jolanta Preidienė, Head of International Office, and kindly supported by the students‘ team of Ilia State University, who are partners of Vilniaus kolegija for many years.

During the visit, J. Preidienė met with the Dean of Business Faculty of Ilia State University, dr. Nino Pataraja, teams of International Office and Tourism centre; also with the head of International Office of Georgian Technical University prof. dr. Otar Zumburidze and his team, with the Vice-Rector of Grigol Robakidze university prof. dr. Nino Kemertelidze, and with the project manager of Tbilisi State University, Ms Ani Chelishvili. With this university a new cooperation agreement was agreed. Since 2007 Vilniaus kolegija has signed cooperation agreements with the Ilia State University and Georgian Technical University, recently with the Grigol Robakidze University also.

During the visit, the delegation of the representatives of Lithuanian HEI’s were also invited to Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia where meet with the Ambassador Giedrius Puodžiūnas was organised.
