Visit of a Representative from the Latvian College of Culture to the Faculty of Arts and Design
Daiga Bokuma, an Erasmus+ academic mobility coordinator from the Latvian College of Culture, visited the Faculty of Arts and Design. The Latvian College of Culture is a strategic partner of the Department of Performing Arts.
During the meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design, Dr. Birutė Žygaitienė, and the Head of the Department of Performing Arts, Dr. Inga Kepalienė, opportunities for collaboration, including the organization of the planned BIP project and the importance of Erasmus visits for both lecturers and students, were discussed. The Latvian College of Culture offers a study programme in Cultural and Artistic Process Management, which is closely related to the Management of Cultural Activity programme offered by Vilniaus Kolegija. This opens up broad possibilities for joint projects, conducting research, and improving study programmes while taking into account the current context of the Baltic countries.
Together with the Faculty’s Erasmus coordinators, Alma Šneidarytė and Jolanta Pileckienė, the meeting included sharing experiences from Erasmus exchanges, discussing ongoing study programmes, and exploring potential student exchange opportunities in the future.
