Cooperation Agreement Signed between Poltava V. Korolenko National Pedagogical University and Vilniaus kolegija/UAS
On Monday, 16th of March, a distance conference was organised between Poltava V. Korolenka National Pedagogical University and Vilniaus kolegija/UAS, where teachers, administrators and students have participated together with Poltava regional authorities and journalists. The event was coordinated by the candidate to Honorary Consuls of Lithuania Mr. Petro Kraisvitni.
During the conference a new Ukrainian – Lithuanian education centre at Poltava V. Korolenka National Pedagogical University was officially opened. The main aims of this centre are to disseminate information about Lithuanian education and strengthen cooperation between Lithuanian and Ukrainian education institutions.
One more important result of the event – a cooperation agreement between Poltava V. Korolenka National Pedagogical University and Vilniaus kolegija/UAS was signed. Both institutions expressed their mutual interest to start concrete steps realising this agreement.
The event was finished with the lecture about Lithuania’s 10 years’ experience in European Union given by Dean of the Faculty of Electronics and Informatics Dr. Romanas Tumasonis.
