Creative/Modern/International Management BIP – Short exchange week at VIKO VVF

May 8-12, 2023 Vilniaus kolegija/Higher Education Institution, Faculty of Business Management hosted three management driven international short exchange weeks: Creative/Modern and International Management BIP’s (Blended intensive programme), joining more than 100 participants from 7 institutions.

Creativity students arrived from long-term partner institutions AVANS University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands) and Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences (Estonia). International Business department guests from “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia (Romania) and Rezekne Academy of Technology (Latvia) strengthen continuous collaboration on short exchanged weeks; Management students arrived from Opole University of Technology (Poland) and University of Liepaja (Latvia).

The programme included lectures by Linas Staršelskis, CEO of “Efektas Group”, Gintarė Gulevičiūtė, Flavius Streianu, Eimantas Kamienas as well as AVANS lecturers Anne Marieke Fransen and Karin van den Dool. Students were welcomed by International Evening with VIKO folk band “Voruta” (leader Laima Skuodienė). During the week, students worked on “Teltonika” challenge, announced by Head of B2B and loT Academies at Teltonika Darius Čepulis.

The event was organized and coordinated by the Head of Business Innovation department, Vaiva Chockevičiūtė, the Head of International Business department Nikolaj Ambrusevič and the Head of Management department Greta Gruodė.

In the end of the week, 15 international teams suggested their solutions to “Teltonika” challenge. The members of the winning team were: Janis Šillers, Ilze Rupule (Liepaja University); Tom Ariens, Esther Zijlmans (AVANS University of Applied Sciences); Fortune Osemhanhu Okogun, Archit Nigam (Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences); Ieva Lukoševičiūtė (Vilniaus kolegija).

The event was funded by Erasmus+ funds. Continuous collaboration is expected between partner institutions through future short exchange weeks, students and teachers exchange as well as scientific collaboration.
