INTERNATIONAL STAFF TRAINING WEEK AT VILNIAUS KOLEGIJA
For the second year in a row, Vilniaus kolegija is organising an International Staff Training Week on Applied Research, Experimental Development and Innovation for a more effective impact on regional development. This year’s event was organised in cooperation with the Research Community of Practice (ResCoP) of the EURASHE association, which has been actively involved in the implementation of the training week programme and thus reinforces its contribution to the shaping of the European Research Area from the perspective of professional higher education. Representatives of the Lithuanian Research Council, the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport and the social partners of Vilniaus kolegija also shared their experiences.
40 researchers from 22 countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and South America took part in the International Staff Training Week. In their feedback, the participants highlighted the relevance of the topics, the professional organisation of the week, the welcoming atmosphere of the event, and the excellent conditions for communication and cooperation.
The International Staff Training Week is one of the strategic events of Vilniaus kolegija for the implementation of internationalisation and the fostering of research and development.
