International Symposium

On 13-14 December 2018 Viktorija Kielaite, lecturer of the Department of Nursing at the Faculty of Health Care, participated in the international symposium “Empowering Patient Education. Visualization of Innovation in Patient Education ” at the University of Turku (Finland). The main aim of this symposium was to provide new knowledge on the use of theoretical and methodological tools in patient empowerment, from the perspective of health care team members, organizations and society. The symposium completed a 15-week training course “Empowering Patient Education”, with the participation of lecturer Viktorija Kielaitė. Her electronic poster “Nursing Competence and Patient Empowerment” was included in the symposium brochure.
