STAFF MOBILITY FOR TEACHING
Who can participate?
All the teachers of Vilniaus Kolegija / University of Applied Sciences are eligible for funding and are invited to apply for teaching mobility in Programme countries1.

Main selection criteria
- Profesional competence of the teacher;
- Foreign language skills;
- Whether this is the first mobility during the year in question;
- Mobility, which results in development of new teaching material;
- Mobility, which results in stronger cooperation between departments and faculties, and where new cooperation project ideas are developed;
- Participation in strategically important projects for the Kolegija.
Preparation for the mobility and documents
After winning the Erasmus+ competition preparation procedure starts:
- The teacher has to contact the higher education institution, to which he or she was selected in order to agree upon the dates and content of the teaching visit;
- Signing the Teaching Mobility Agreement. This is a trilateral agreement, signed by the teacher, the dean (or an authorized person) of the faculty and a representative of the receiving institution abroad.
- Signing the Grant Agreement – this document is prepared by the International Relations and Projects Department after the Teaching Mobility Agreement is duly signed.
Duration of teaching mobility
Minimal duration of a teaching mobility:
- In Programme countries: 2 working days, 8 hours of teaching. Recommended duration is 5 days, including travel days.
Grant norms
After the mobility
Upon return from the teaching mobility, the participant has to:
- Submit documents, verifying the travel and accommodation costs, to the Financial Department within 3 workdays;
- Submit a copy of Certificate of Attendance from the receiving institution to the International Relations and Project Department;
- Submit on-line report (using Mobility Tool*). The on-line report has to be filled no later than 30 days after receiving the invitation from the European Commission to do so;
- Prepare a short press release and send it to the email address: international@viko.lt
Note: Vilniaus Kolegija has the right to demand back part of the grant, or the whole grant, from the teacher, who did not fulfil any of the above given requirements or if he/she violates any conditions, specified in the Teaching Mobility or Grant Agreement.

Who can participate?
All the staff members (academic as well as non-academic) of Vilniaus Kolegija / University of Applied Sciences are eligible for funding and are invited to apply for training mobility in Programme countries1.
Please note, that conferences are not funded as staff training mobility.
PLEASE, NOTE:
The selection procedure
Staff member, interested in a training mobility, fills in online application form.
Differently from Teaching mobility applications, which are selected by Erasmus+ selection committees in respective faculties, applications for Staff training are considered by the central Erasmus+ Staff training selection committee, appointed by the rector’s order.
The application selection procedure lasts one week after the candidate submits the application. He or she is informed individually about the committee’s decision via email in 2 workdays after the decision is made.

- Actual teaching content (goals, planned results of the mobility, that are actual for the staff member, the faculty, the department or the whole Kolegija);
- Foreign language skills, (working language skills);
- Whether this is the first staff member‘s mobility during the year in question;
- Mobility, which results in stronger cooperation between departments and faculties;
- Participation in strategically important projects for the Kolegija.

- Signing the Training Mobility Agreement. This is a trilateral agreement, signed by the staff member, the dean (or an authorized person) of the faculty and a representative of the receiving institution abroad.
- Signing the Grant Agreement – this document is prepared by the International Relations and Projects Department after the Training Mobility Agreement is duly signed.
Duration of training mobility
Minimal duration of training mobility:
- In Programme countries: 2 working days, 8 hours of training. Recommended duration is 5 days, including travel days;
- In Partner countries: 5 working days, 8 hours of training + 2 travel days (the duration of these mobilities is strictly fixed: that is, 7 days in total, unless determined otherwise in the Bilateral Agreement between the institutions).

After the mobility
