Striving for Excellence: Professional Higher Education and the World of Work
EURASHE is an international non-profit association, which is engaged in the development of policies on key issues for professional higher education.
On 21-22 April, 2016 in Belgrade, Serbia, EURASHE organised its 26th Annual Conference titled „Centres of cooperation striving for excellence: professional higher education and the world of work“.
As EURASHE represents the higher education institutions offering professionally oriented programmes, characterised by having strong links with the world of work, the programme of the conference put emphasis on 3 main themes such as employability, regional development and innovation.
In this event Vilniaus kolegija was represented by the Rector dr. Gintautas Bražiūnas and Dean of the Faculty of Business Management Danutė Rasimavičienė. D. Rasimavičienė conducted the idea generalization workshop and participated in the plenary session on issues of employability.
The meeting of the professionals of higher education and the representatives of the work world was a mutual significant event.
