Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences has been awarded a solid funding for participation in research, experimental development and art activities
Innovation is considered as one of the most important priorities for the economic competitiveness of the country today. Successful cooperation between science and business creates conditions for the dissemination of innovations and helps to establish themselves in all areas of society, and the effective use of innovations promotes economic development, exports, increases work efficiency and, of course, the competitiveness of the country’s economy. We want to rejoice the achievements of Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences community and the funding received for participating in research, experimental development and artistic activities.
Researchers at Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences have been actively involved in applied research, data analysis, research, art events and other fields and programmes. Teachers and employees conducted various consultations, advanced training, retraining courses, seminars and carried out custom-made activities (outsourcing). Therefore, 503.8 thousand Euros were allocated to encourage Vilniaus Kolegija/University of Applied Sciences to participate in research, experimental development and art activities this year, which is one third of the state budget appropriations.
