If you are still hesitating, get acquainted with the success story of Mindaugas Pundzius, a student of VIKO MTF, and dare!

Two years ago, Mindaugas Pundzius, a student of VIKO MTF – Vilnius College, Faculty of Arts and Creative Technologies, decided to spend half a year in Azerbaijan, an opportunity that was provided to him by the Erasmus program. Mindaugas was able not only to travel, but also to learn with one of the most famous Azerbaijani jazz pianists, Salman Gambarov. Mindaugas, who returned to Lithuania after half a year, as he says, was no longer the person: the knowledge gained and courage made it easier to knit acquaintances not only with representatives of Lithuania, but also with representatives of the foreign musical world. One of them is the French singer Antoine Wend, with whom Mindaugas created the duo “Mando” and won the Lithuanian TV project “X Factor”. It is said that it is different to return from every trip than to an outing. For artists, such experiences are especially important – Mindaugas has no doubts about this. He said that if it weren’t for the Erasmus experience, he would hardly have ever discovered unique Azerbaijani music in his life.” Therefore, if you have the opportunity, be sure to drive. Especially – if it is not a European country. A new culture, a different life and different people change your thinking. Each new experience adds pluses to the artist’s work,” Mindaugas sincerely recommended to try Erasmus studies.
