Please note that conferences are not funded as staff training mobility activities.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The competition for Erasmus+ staff training mobility grants is open throughout the academic year in question, from 1 September until 31 May.
- VIKO staff members must submit an online application no later than 1 month before the start of the planned training mobility, and no later than 31 May of the respective academic year.
- Exceptions: If the training mobility takes place in September or October, applications may be submitted no later than 2 weeks before the start of the mobility.
The selection procedure
Staff members wishing to participate in training mobility are required to complete an online application form.
Unlike teaching mobility applications, which are selected by Erasmus+ selection committees within the respective faculties, staff training mobility applications are evaluated by the central Erasmus+ Staff Training Selection Committee appointed by the Rector.
The application assessment procedure takes one week from the date of submission. Applicants are informed individually about the Committee’s decision by email within 2 working days after the decision has been made.
Staff members wishing to accompany student groups to Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) are required to complete the application form provided below. The applications will be reviewed by the respective faculty: [Application Form]
Where to go?
Staff training mobility can take place at any higher education institution or enterprise located in a Programme Country, selected by the applicant.
The number of staff training mobility opportunities in third countries not associated with the Programme is strictly limited. Each individual case must be coordinated with the management of the respective faculty or department.
Main selection criteria

- Whether this is the first staff member‘s mobility during the year in question;
- Mobility, which results in stronger cooperation between departments and faculties;
- Participation in strategically important projects for the Kolegija.
Preparation for the mobility and documents
After winning the Erasmus+ competition, preparation procedure starts:
- The staff member has to contact the higher education institution or enterprise, to which he or she was selected in order to agree upon the dates and content of the training mobility;
- Signing the Training Mobility Agreement. This is a trilateral agreement, signed by the staff member, the dean (or an authorized person) of the faculty and a representative of the receiving institution abroad.
- Signing the Grant Agreement – this document is prepared by the International Relations and Projects Department after the Training Mobility Agreement is duly signed.
Duration of training mobility
Minimal duration of training mobility:
- In Programme countries: 2 working days, 8 hours of training. Recommended duration is 5 days, including travel days;
- In third countries associated to the Programme: 5 working days, 8 hours of training + 2 travel days (the duration of these mobilities is strictly fixed: that is, 7 days in total, unless determined otherwise in the inter-institutional agreement between the institutions).
After the mobility
Upon return from an Erasmus+ staff training mobility visit, participants are required to submit:
- a financial settlement with the Finance and Accounting Department within 3 working days by submitting copies of travel tickets, travel expense documents, accommodation and insurance documents, and signing the advance report;
